Lactation Consultant
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience supporting mothers and infants during the early postpartum period. I understand that the beginning of life with a new baby can feel both beautiful and overwhelming. When feeding is not going as expected, it can create stress, uncertainty, exhaustion, and concern during a time when families are trying to bond, recover, and adjust to life together.
My approach combines clinical knowledge with a thoughtful understanding of lactation physiology, newborn feeding, maternal recovery, and the emotional experience of early parenthood. My goal is not only to support feeding, but to help families feel more confident, connected, and at ease as they move through this transition.
My years of experience caring for families as a lactation consultant, along with my previous background as a NICU nurse, have given me a deep understanding of how early feeding experiences and interventions can influence breastfeeding and infant development. I recognize that every mother and baby are unique, and that feeding support should reflect the individual needs, goals, and circumstances of each family.
As a lactation consultant, I help you understand what you are seeing and experiencing so you can move forward with confidence and a clear, individualized plan that supports both parent and baby.
My approach is calm, practical, and personalized, with a focus on feeding that is effective, sustainable, and aligned with your goals. Whether you are navigating the early days at home, working through feeding challenges, or simply looking for reassurance and guidance, I strive to provide support that feels thoughtful, manageable, and encouraging.
