about me
My path to becoming a lactation consultant began long before I earned my certification. After becoming a registered nurse (RN), I spent a a few years caring for critically ill patients on a step-down ICU before transitioning to the NICU, where I discovered a passion for supporting infants and their families during some of life's most vulnerable moments.

After becoming a mother myself and experiencing the challenges of early parenthood and breastfeeding firsthand, I gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of compassionate, evidence-based lactation support. Those experiences inspired me to pursue extensive training and ultimately become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2008. Since then, I have dedicated my career to helping families navigate infant feeding with confidence, knowledge, and support.

Driven by a lifelong commitment to learning and providing comprehensive care, I also earned my Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Today, I combine more than 25 years of nursing experience with specialized lactation expertise to provide personalized, practical support that respects each family's unique goals and circumstances.
my approach to care
Whether you're expecting your first baby or welcoming another child into your family, I'm glad you're here.
Â
Feeding a baby rarely unfolds exactly as we imagine it will. Questions, unexpected challenges, and conflicting advice can leave parents feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. Even experienced parents can find themselves wondering, "Is this normal?" or "Am I doing this right?"
Â
My goal is to provide evidence-based guidance, practical strategies, and compassionate support tailored to your family's unique needs and goals. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to feeding a baby. Together, we'll create a plan that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with what matters most to your family.
Â
Above all, I want you to feel informed, supported, and confident as you navigate the transition into parenthood and the early weeks and months with your baby.
